This week we have had the pleasure of having Phoebe around for her work experience. 15-year-old Phoebe who attends Rivington and Blackrod school and has been learning all about the brewing process by getting involved in every element of brewery life. Phoebe is also the daughter of one of our very own brewers, Woody. She even helped Woody brew the return of ‘Black Pearl IPA’ on her first day. Talk about being thrown into the deep end, but I’m sure Phoebe’s magic touch will produce an even better-tasting black IPA.
As well as learning the ropes in brewing beer, Phoebe has been helping Andrea, our managing director in aspects of marketing and data control whilst also putting together a presentation of the brewery process.
Well done Phoebe on all your hard work and good luck for the future from everyone at the brewery! A future brewer in the making? We hope so.
