Wily Fox Brewery wins three SIBA Beer Awards.
The folks at Wily Fox Brewery are still buzzing around on cloud 9 from winning three SIBA Beer awards! SIBA’s North West Independent Beer awards 2017 took place on the 4thOctober at the Macron Stadium, Bolton. We were completely overwhelmed on winning our first SIBA award, the fact it was a Gold award made it even more special. Still on a high from the initial news and it was announced we’d won another Gold award and a Silver for overall Champion of the Small Pack Beer Competition!

So which beers got us jumping for joy? The ever delightful Karma Citra and the enigmatic Black Pearl, Black IPA. Both are outstanding beers in their own right and adored by establishments and the public. Winning SIBA Gold awards for each of these amazing beers has certainly put them in the spotlight and hopefully raised their awareness, so that more people can have the opportunity to try them and love them as much we do. Karma Citra stole the limelight gaining a Gold in Small Pack Standard Bitters & Pale Ales and then winning Silver for the overall Small Pack category. The Black Pearl won the Gold SIBA Beer Award in Small Pack Premium Bitters & Pale Ales.
